CHI: Thought Leader Dinner & Discussion - Daniel Casasanto @ Homestead on the Roof

Join us for an intimate IVY Thought Leader Dinner & Discussion with renowned cognitive neuroscientist and University of Chicago Professor, Daniel Casasanto! Daniel will guide us through a compelling conversation focused on the theory of a universal mind, the idea that despite differences in opinion and thought, our general brain processing is the same across humanity. Daniel argues against this theory, claiming that our very experiences in life influence the way that our brains develop and how we process information. By exploring how language, culture, and bodily experiences influence the way we think, feel, and make decisions, we’ll learn how our very own experiences with the physical and social world shape our brain and minds. This special evening will take place in the beautiful private dining room of Homestead on the Roof, where we’ll enjoy a delicious three-course meal, unlimited wine, and unforgettable conversation with a fascinating group of IVY members.

The entire dinner, including the delicious three-course meal, unlimited wine, tax, and tip will be $10 initial deposit + $175 final payment which will be automatically charged to your account on Monday, February 20. We are unable to issue refunds on the final payment after this date. To cancel before Monday, February 20, please email alexus@ivy.com. We hope to see you there!
