Members joined us for an extraordinary IVY Culture Night featuring New York City Ballet’s “Here/Now No. 10,” a specially curated performance presented as part of the Ballet’s Spring 2017 contemporary choreography festival. “Here/Now No. 10” brought an unparalleled lineup of artistic excellence, showcasing world premieres by Colombian-Belgian choreographer, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and critically-acclaimed Swedish choreographer and filmmaker, Pontus Lidberg. The performance also coupled with two renowned works: Peter Martins’ thrilling Fearful Symmetries, which showcased a racing score by celebrated American composer John Adams; and Kim Brandstrup’s Jeux, a cinematic, noir-style, and playful ballet.
Following the performance, we enjoyed an exclusive, garden-themed after-party with NYCB’s Young Patrons Group and Company dancers on the Promenade of Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. The after-party included an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
